Especially work-related. You know my biggest Internet pet peeve? People who ignore legitimate e-mail.

I'm not talking about spam or unsolicited mail or anything like that. I'm talking about when you query a normal business or work associate and get absolutely no response in 24 hours or more during a normal work week. What is up with that? I think that is the height of rudeness. At least respond with, Got your message. Can't answer right now. I'll get back to you.

Something. Anything. I make it a practice to answer every legitimate e-mail within 24 hours, sooner if I can. It just makes sense. To do otherwise in this day and age is sort of like giving somebody a blank look when you're having a face-to-face conversation and you don't say something.
