Something. Anything. I make it a practice to answer every legitimate e-mail within 24 hours, sooner if I can. It just makes sense. To do otherwise in this day and age is sort of like giving somebody a blank look when you're having a face-to-face conversation and you don't say something.

Weigh in.

I agree. I use email all day for work and it everybody I am emailing to just sits at their desk all day, so there is no excuse for it. Then I have to call and ask if they got my email. It's extremely redundant, but I have to. I would just call them in the first place, but I usually need something forwarded from them.
