I didn't read this thread except the first page and I don't really know anything about Heath Ledger except that he's been in a bunch of shitty films, but.. if he intentionally killed himself (IF -- we'll find out "definitely" soon), I don't see this is as some kind of big deal. Suicide's not a tragedy; it's his life, no one has any right to say what he can do with his life, so if he wanted to take his own life, that's fine.
If it was an accidental death, fuck yeah, that's a tragedy. That sucks for anyone to die like that.
Either way, regarding the new Batman film, it will do even bigger business now because of this. Ridiculous. "GOTTA SEE A DEAD CELEB IN HIS LAST ROLE!!!!!!!!!!!" Not that it wasn't going to do big business anyway. Creepy.
