Wow.

Let's nuke the Today show. I never watch the show, but today I have it on in the background. I am hearing ridiculous "advice."

This, regarding the economy:

1. Parents shouldn't have to tell their kids that they can't go to Harvard next year because their parents can't afford it.

2. Before next year, people should save up a whole year's living expenses right now. Okay, tell me how you do that exactly on a monthly salary, with prices rising all the time?

On our "lifestyle":

3. Our kids are too stressed out. They're stressed out "for success," and they should go to stress management classes. Um, how about just letting them play more and not worry so much about getting into Harvard. Oh, and kids need coping strategies because the world is a stressful place. Um, no shit!

4. Oh, and the stress is the parents' fault. Do ya think?! How is this news?
