I cannot fucking believe it, everytime I ruminate about it, which is often for it causes me great consternation, that of all the insipid stupid valley girl bullshit that came up in the late 70's early 80's, the use of the word "like" to opreface every third word is the one "valley" thing to catch on and stick to the collective USA consciousness.
