I've always been somewhat precocious - pretentious, some might say (fuckwits with a chip on their shoulder, predominantly). I've noticed that for the last few years that people tend to be less deriding and somewhat more attentive to the more errant monologues I indulge in. So, by that notion, older is better.
Not that I can really speak, I'm still a whippersnapper.
