I know eh? I called a bunch of places, and the price range for rat check ups seems to be between 50 and 75 dollars. My old vet charged $50 and even admitted he knew fuck all about rats. He only knows about dogs and cats I guess.
I think it's money well spent too, and I'm also not one who likes to go through pets like crazy. Last night I was really bummed out and just thinking about all the pets I've had in the past haha. Pets are totally worth the heart break though
