hey peeps,

i'm dialing in the sounds for the new RECS OF THE FLESH cd, and been experimenting a lot with mics and amps... found out a killer amp which gives me the warmth i was looking for, now mic'ing is a whole another world as we all know.

i found a sweet spot with a shure SM57 off axis on the speaker, now i was curious to experiment with a second mic but my condensers don't cut like I thought... i ended up checking out T's amp and mics... get the pic:

I think that one on the top is reminescent of an SM58, and the other one looks like a sennheiser MD421II - is that what it is? or, what are those anyway?

any help is appreciated. thanx!
