I paid $50 (I think) to see Sonic at Anthology but that was a super rare occurance. My eyes usually glaze over at $20+ - and that usually means big mafia clubs where I can't bring in my taper anyway.
if you got the $60 to burn and like the bands just do it. personally I think its an awful lot. To just see melt banana, thats ridiculous.
