I can relate to the problem of sometimes having no one to see bands with. In my case, it's either a case of "Fuck off! - They Suck" or "Aw, I got no money this week".
The first couple of times I saw Sonic Youth, I went by myself. Same deal with Babes in Toyland. I mean, I had a great time - but you miss out on the post-show drinks, and those "Fuck- that was awesome!" conversations.
So i'd have a drink with ya, Phoenix.
I think Floatingslowly is still sussing me out though - making sure I'm not a psycho. Truth is, I'm shy, polite and hate confrontation. So drinks wouldn't be in Queen St. Only weapon I've got is a sarcastic wit - and that won't quite work with these gangs of suburban boys hyped up on Jagermeister and Red Bull....
