The ELYSIAN QUARTET is one of the UK most innovative ensembles and the only British string quartet of its generation to focus exclusively on 20th Century, contemporary and experimental music. They have performed all over the world to great acclaim and have worked with artists as diverse as virtuoso beat-boxer Killa Kella, jazz pianist Keith Tippett and experimental electronic composer Simon Fisher-Turner. They have recently supported Hot Chip and Polar Bear.
SEAN O'HAGAN is one of the founding members of The High Llamas and has collaborated extensively with Stereolab. He is also known for his string arrangements with amongst others the Super Furry Animals and Doves as well as his extensive remix portfolio and recent film scores. Tonight sees the premiere of his String Quartet. DOMINIC MURCOTT specialises in work that combines live instruments with technology. His compositions are performed internationally and he has performed around the world with various artists, particularly as a member of The High Llamas and has recorded with many influential pop groups including Stereolab, Pavement and St Etienne. When not composing or performing he is Head of Composition at Trinity College of Music. Tonight's Installation for String Quartet is a unique multi-media work exploring synchronisation between performers, film and computer and is viewed as one of the most important multi-media pieces of recent times. WILL DUTTA is emerging as an extremely exciting, versatile and creative pianist, collaborator and event producer. His recent projects include work with DJ Yoda, The Heritage Orchestra and Plaid and he has performed extensively in the UK and abroad as soloist and collaborator.

BLANK CANVAS, a night of live contemporary classical and experimental music led by pianist Will Dutta together with progressive DJ sets and guest performances by some of the leading DJs and soloists in London and abroad. Supporting Blank Canvas is DILETTANTE, the first specialist classical music community on the Internet. The site harnesses the latest in web technology to create a global network connecting musicians, audiences and enthusiasts with the music that unites them.
