Kongsberg Jazzfestival is the best jazz festival in Norway and one of the best in Europe. We are very happy to annouce that we will do a Smalltown Superjazzz showcase at this years festival. The whole Superjazzz crew will go to Kongsberg with preformences with: Original Silence (with Casper Brotzmann instead of Thurston Moore and Jim O`Rourke), Joe McPhee & Paal Nilssen-Love duo, Free Fall, The Thing with Joe McPhee and Ken Vandermark (!), Mats Gustafsson as well as the wild trio of Peter Brotzmann, Paal Nilssen-Love and Mats Gustafsson. Casper Brotzmann, is a good choice he's a pretty sick guitarorist... haven't heard much about him in awhile.
