On another note, why do people here seem to ignore Selected Ambient Works 85-92? That album is a classic Aphex Twin album... Quite right. That is by far my favorite Aphex Twin album. Richard D. James just gets a higher place in the hierarchy than I think it ought to, but that's simply down to my personal preference.

That being said, I agree with porkmarras (as I've bitched about before) that while I do like him, he is overrated. If he went back to his ambient 'roots' and ceased his quest for shock value, I'd appreciate his music much more.
