if they have no proof of what you did they shouldn't be making these accusations and you should make a complaint. yeah, you should do it, not your mother-- send a formal letter of complaint telling your story, complain to whatever business association there is, and promise to foulmouth it on the internet. as the ugly american likes to say, don't get mad-- get even.
