I misunderstand your reasoning because objective social theory is a lie in my eyes. If you want an answer to why we do something or do not, ask individuals. I have my own reasons for speaking against the censoring of pornography. There's no reason why we as a whole choose to do one thing versus another because these very decisions are in constant discourse. A representative from somewhere is certainly trying to prohibit porn as we speak. Why don't we listen to him? More personal reasons.
