i have rediscovered bleach and nirvana for that matter though. they realy were amazing and i dont care what people say. they seamlessy mixed together 70s rock and hardcore with beatles pop melodies and therefore made some of the best pop songs of all times. nirvana is a great first band to get into because kurt so often would put greater emphasis on the music he loved more than his own music. because i loved nirvana when i was younger, i then was able to discover black flag, the wipers, the melvins, the vaselines, sonic youth, big black, scratch acid, half japanese, flipper, daniel johnston, and a buncha others im sure. no matter how experimental and left field my tastes have gotten, i still have not shaken my divine love of nirvana.
