The 4-pack of Flying Dog's Double Dog Double Pale Ale looks far more interesting than any record or CD I looked at today--though it will last not nearly as long! In fact, it's gonna go pretty fast.

The closest thing that came to seeming halfway interesting was a VG used copy of Hendrix's Band of Gypsies (U.S. cover). Meh. Not a huge fan of the album, though I love Hendrix, and I have the CD. Plus I do not like buying any Lp that's rated less than VG-plus.

And for the first time in like decades, I saw a sealed, new LP copy of Kind of Blue. Some kind of German import. But I have two used copies, one in really good shape, and the CD. There comes a point, you know. Plus the reproduction of the cover art, especially the back cover, was very poor. Very washed out looking. And it wasn't any kind of special vinyl, like 180 gram or anything. So another "Meh."

What can a poor boy do?
