i saw anthony braxton perform as the diamond curtain wall trio (with a guitarist and a cornet player) yesterday. man, it was amazing, skipping the line between free playing and jazz language with a computer making feedback tones in the back. fucking marvelous.
made me wonder why i don't listen to free jazz more often.
