Alto is the best for beginners. A Baritone sax is huge; it is more oriented towards bass parts, a tenor is in the middle of the other two, in terms of size; it is more oriented towards playing jazz. Also, if you've never played a woodwind instrument, go with the alto since its smaller. If you get a bigger one, it will be harder to blow and you'll get light-headed.
