I prefer the anonymity of living in a 'mega city' (in my case London) and the ability to avoid certain people that share it with you, by virtue of its sheer size.
I'd quite happily leave London, but only for another megatropolis - NYC, Berlin, Paris, etc.
EDIT: Looking at the list of cities by population, it appears that London isn't a Mega City at all but a 'very big' one. I feel humbled.
