liars arent even a ny band anymore, they moved back to la and record in berlin. gang gang dance is pretentious and dumb, i liked them for a week. animal collective is amazing. tv on the radio has made some really pretty pop songs and good vocals and good production, so they get an a ok in my book. excepter is lame and so are all those other bands.
