I find the over-enthusiastic responses of straight males for chubbier women sometimes a little suspicious because I think that they hide some insecurities about themsleves that they project on the way they want their women to look like.
Women, just like men, come in all different shapes and sizes, and people in general of a larger size are often more conscious of their shape. That shape also determines how healthy our body and mind is, unless one is of a certain built which is constant and stable.
Women also tend to be more educated about their own body as they are prone to worry about it more than men and therefore they statistically do more about it than their male counterpart, sometimes with horryfing physical and psychological consequences, sometimes with great results. A woman who feels in good shape I assume is one who looks after herself and the stability of her brain no matter what her body size is.
