Water is the absolute best because the headache comes from dehydration. Sleep is another good one because the body tends to feel more fatigued due to the hangover. A thing that I avoid when I'm hungover is food that is too salty or too sweet. A cat purring into you ear all day is also a good remedy. Not a kitten but a big fat cat.
