Well, I just listened to Tom Waits version and, while I'm sure this'll have me banished to the message board equiv. to the salt mines for saying it, I honestly prefer SJ's version.
And I don't even know about her whoring herself. Since making LiT, her choice of films has largely been quite good. OK, The Island wasn't great but most of the rest have been decent enough. Certainly a lot more interesting than those of 90% of her peers. I say she's still pretty cool and the fact she's managing to maintain at least some kind of identity within the whole HWood machine only strengthens my view of that.
