But I don't pay attention to blogs...

and atari pretty much points out the obvious: everything sucks.

Thinking about it now, not just speaking of music, but films, books, video games... all the stuff peaked a long time ago in my mind... everything is a remake of a remake or an "update" or exploring the same themes as before. Getting back to music: Who in the musical world is really doing something radical and different compared to 20 years ago? There is still plenty of new bands that make good music, but you can only be revolutionary so many times. There's really nothing mindblowingly different I've experienced recently.
