i find it strange that the dissapearance of one child is given more media coverage than another when as you pointed out 100's go missing in a year. what made me angry was the fact that the media were not reporting news, they were just looking at them (the mcanns) like specimens under a microscope and they did it for days, weeks, months.
i also find it strange how the news channels keep on asking us to send 'your news' into them, when in actual fact we know nothing and relly on the news to tell us whats happening in the first place. it seems almost as if journalists are scared to investigate stories anymore.
