its just amazing that a band who started off as these acid fried punk rock butthole surfers imitators progressed to the band that made a a lush, orchestral, and beautiful psych pop masterpiece such as the soft bulletin. its not even my fave lips album (that would be clouds taste metallic) but it was quite an acheivement. yoshimi was cool too, especially for people know who yoshimi is, but they are far past their prime.
