I was in the same boat last night. Ended up layig awake until 3:30am and getting up at 6am.

I tried to do this, and I couldn't get my shower to work.
I'd pull up the thing there on the main faucet, but the water just wouldn't come out of the shower head. I tried for ten minutes before I said fuck it.
Maybe in a couple days we'll all be used to the heat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway.
