So i was watching the nba finals last night and as it went to commercial I heard "A Minha Menina" coming from the screen. I stared at the tv confused, wtf! Os mutantes music on a commercial and just to add to the strangeness it was a mcdonald's ad.These kids are playing a soccer game and the winning team gets a trophy but the losers are happier with mcdonalds food all while some fuzzy guitar plays over it. This was so bizarre it took a while for me to wrap my head around what had just happened.
Part of me is happy that the os mutantes are getting some new exposure maybe attract some new fans but on the other hand I don't like their unique version of psych associated with some greedy corporate giant.
Has anyone else seen this ad yet? What you think about it?
