I've come to this conclusion as well. I basically am starting this collection for the basis of cassette only, & rare releases. But, I ultimately prefer vinyl to cassette. W/out question.
Order of audio format of preferance:
1.Vinyl
2.24bit / 96kHz - WAV / FLAC
3.Cassette
4.CD
5.MP3
