i always thought english was hard to learn because the way the verbs are conjugated is totally ass-backwards.

i might also note that even though i am going to amsterdam soon i am going to make absolutely no attempt to speak dutch because they all speak english anyway and i can't pronounce any of that shit.
I think conjugation is hard in any language, but I don't know if English is specifically difficult. I know English is hard to spell and impossible to pronounce because it's so random and non-standardized, but the non-standardized thing probably applies to conjugation and FUCKINGDAMMIT my clothes keep falling off the back of my chair.
