Well said indeed. I am really getting so sick of FPS. There have been some great fps's in the last 10 years. Duke Nukem 3D, Unreal Tournament ( 1st one ), the Half life series, the quake series, the doom series etc, but it's just getting tired. It's a good genre but god the overkill, the endless list of world war II sims and strategic military ops games. Uggh. I remember Mario Galaxy almost won game of the year but Bioshock took it simply because it was a FPS. We need some more 3D platformers is what we need. Games that are fun to play.
