Once a friend of a friend thought I was cute so apparently they conspired to hook her up with me. So what happens is that they all go to the local bar and call my friend and I over but I am completely oblivious to the blind date that was seconds away from happening. I get there, say hello, grab a pint, etc. and then one of my closer friends from the group tells me that mentioned girl has a crush on me so I'm like "oh." Anyways I awkwardly hangout with her while the rest of the gang gives me winks and shit. Problem is that I don't really find her attractive enough to get involved with beyond being a friend (yes, weird gender role reversal here) and try to explain so to her kindly without utterly crushing her.
Anyways her friends still pursued getting us together even after that night so it was all drawn out until the girl left for LA.
