I AM NOT A GEEK

but

I must admit I superlove the Metroid OSTs. Especially this track:

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=5Zx5rkSGcwg (Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, underwater Torvus)

it was also the music for Brinstar depths on Super Metroid

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=Qzf74K...eature=related
but I prefer the newest version.

I had friends that listened almost only to videogames OST, and I thought it was uber bullshit (like they were "ooh Balloon Fight NES OST is pure genius" - and I'm not even joking, it's litteral transcription), but now Metroid OSTs rock. They totally get you into the game atmosphere.

And I totally could see this underwater Torvus theme into an electronica/ambient album... Listen to the end of that "Dead Sea" Plaid track, it sounds very metroidish.

That had to be said
