I hate dogs. Most dogs. Dogs I don't hate usually don't wipe their slobbery mouths all over my face, don't shit in highly inappropriate places, don't steal my food, don't knock shit over, weigh more than two pounds and don't bark.

Do cats do any of those things?
Nope.
They have a shitbox, they don't slobber, etc etc.

Yes, cats are convenient, but they don't have any other face but that
"You could die and I wouldn't give a fuck till dinnertime" face. I don't know. I get that distinct feeling they think they rule the household because you feed them. A dog, on the otherhand, tells you by its affection that it's eternally grateful for all the things you do for it. And if there's one thing I can't stand, it's ungrateful bitches. (no pun intended)

I heard this a super long time ago, that if you took a dog into yr home, fed and cared for it, the attitude is "These people took me in when I was shelterless and provided for me- they must be some kind of God"*
But you do the same thing to a cat, the attitude becomes "These people took me in when I was shelterless and provided for me- I must be some kind of God."
That's the vibes I always get from each species. There's always exceptions, ofcourse, but on the whole I never get wild over cats.

*"God"'s a bit grandiose of a word, but you get the idea. "Powerful Protector" can definitely be substituted here.
