You've probably been lucky.
I see "emo kids" coming into the place where I work (a grocery store) and causing all kinds of havoc and tearing shit up and just acting like assholes to everyone all the time. Not really any better or worse than any other "groups" of people and I'm not going to say that all "Emo kids" are bad. Just.. you know.. they're not any better either, from my experience.
