The crowd was good, positive vibes, not to much crowding the aisles and the rows. I had literally worst seats in the house and perhaps the LAST tickets of that night, but we never sat in them cuz I was in the aisle in the front dancing the entire time. It was intense, amazing, spiritual, positive, an accomplishment. I could literally have not asked for more...
the absolute silence during Faust Arp was incredible, I have never seen such a thing, tens of thousands of people silently in awe and attention to a solo guitar performance, it takes some energy to pull such a thing off. That was up there with the moment during Bunny Wailer in 2006 when the entire crowd chorused to
"Get Up Stand Up" as the house turned off the sound system, to give us 18000 voices in positive acapella (here is bunny sing I never seen an Image of a Baldhead Jesus at the same amazing show) or to hear thousands sing "Jah is my driver" with
Burning Spear last year ...
It is in my top five, and my top five has not rank has it is to heartbreaking to do such a thing, but alas, radiohead just ranked a whole series of living legends down the poll a notch...thank you radiohead, you finally did it for me. Thank you radiohead fans, I know I have been a hater before, but you all pulled together and made a 20,000 show a truly rewarding experience..
blessings and love,
