That's a result of the board's rep system... I mean, the more time passes, the higher rep level boarders have, the higher the points they give out when repping other boarders, so newcomers have more chances to skyrocket to high rep levels even getting just a bunch of posts from other high repped fellas.
Yes, I have time on my hands now, and took the time to post all this reasoning.
