That is a problem around here, too much highly educated people, while the need of labour is somewhere else. My visual design studies will last about 4-5 years and that's an equivalent to BA degree (it's not an university, but a post-secondary level polytechic), I can apply to an MA program after graduation, but I'm not sure if there's any point, since it would add two more years and the employers don't really care about your education background. It's the portfolio and social skills that matter.
