as a housemate I;
regularly cook and make cups of tea in the kitchen, and encourage whoever is here to eat share food
hang out in the 'living' room.. drawing, cutting and pasting, listening to music, dancing, playing cards, drinking booze
go hang out in bed with whoever is hungover/coming down, watching cartoons all day
go hang out in the room belonging to whoever is playing music, and play too or just do the same things as I would in lounge room as above
I participate in conversation but Im not overly loud ever in a house.
