Well it would be bad to assume that the emotional and the ethical are the private domain of Christianity.
In fact this position is essentially in contrast to Platonic idealism, which may or may not be the central philosophy of the Bible depending on the interpretation. This could be a kind of Christianity, I suppose I'm saying.
