Tuneless, tuneless, tuneless... this word is completely irrelevant and unnecessary, as a criticism, when describing SY's sound. Yes they have tunes but also they don't. This is the supreme difference between them and every other band.
Wake up... isn't that the point.
And yes Evol is amazing. A totally seminal work on all levels, it manages to encapsulate eroticism, fear, beauty, transcendence and nihilism in equal measures. 10/10.
