mine IS 500gb and i'm not knocking it off my desk at any rate.
I dig it my man. how i dig it. cuz now i can listen to all my mp3s on the fancy hifi system (currently diggin' some heavy Colossamite) downstairs yo, sitting on the comfy sofa right next to the hot hot fireplace. life is life.
