That's not true at all. There are plenty of famous idiots who never intended to be famous, who are. I'd almost say that the really smart, forward-thinking people of the world are the ones who aren't famous, almost without exception. I could argue here about what defines intelligence, but I'm not.
Oprah probably is a smart enough person, or at least works with smart people, but she is a very evil human being and.. ick. Just saying her name is.. ew.
