This goes back to another thread. Beefheart's probably the only musician I'd pay $100 or so to see. Can you believe it's been 28 years since his last album?!

The sad thing is, I remember reading an interview from 86 or so when he said he'd been working on new music at his house and that it was pretty wild stuff and he'd return to the music world eventually. We're still waiting. I guess the only thing I can hope for is one day maybe some tapes of him banging on a piano at his house are released. Though I do recall an interview with Gary Lucas from the late-80's or so when he said he'd visited Don recently and worked on some music with him. Highly doubt anything came out of that though. Crazy.
