this is about for the first time in human history being able to repair or regrow nerve endings, repairing severed spinal collumns, repairing cirrosis (sp?) from hepatitis patients, maybe fixing congenital birth defects such as blindness, deafness, spina bifida, etc.

already, in one week, President Obama has possibly done more for the betterment of the whole earth than Bush did in his 8 years.
-allowing for stem cell research to be funded by federal money.
-allowing for federal humanitarian aid to go to ALL medical organizations around the world, not just the "pro life" ones.
-designating a chair to actually get the USA involved wit the world in their efforst to curb emissions and fossil fuel burning.
