I was just thinking about Metalux. For the longest time I would hear about them on various zines, everyone singing thier praises of thier unique blend of experimental electronics and swirling guitar driven psychecelic no wave. But the name, Metalux? So generic, thought theyd be some boring ass Noxagt thing (even though I'm a big fan of Bride of No No). Then my friend asked me if I was into them one day, and I said, "No." "Why?", he asked. "Well," I said, "I don't know, there name is stupid." My friend then laughed his ass off and said, "Here, listen to this." He gave me the Metalux III cdr. I was blown away and pissed at myself for being such an anal retentive fool. It's basically everything good about Psychedelic music without any of the nonsense.
I have to take a leak really bad and I don't wanna pee my pants in the middle of the University's computer lab, so I'll add more to this later.
