Only real facts - unfortunately
This afternoon I was lying on my bed quietly - reading The New York Trilogy, if you must know -. I decided to get up, so I sort of jumped off the bed, a bit abruptly I guess.
Taking care to put all my weigh in my right foot.
The floor was entirely empty, except for my GameBoy Advance battery cable which was loosely lying on the ground.
The jack of the cable was in vertical position.
My foot touched the ground.
The jack of the cable melted with my foot (or, if you want details, it entered my foot right in the middle of it).
A lot of blood and an ugly dark hole in the center of my foot followed. I still do limp, and it still does hurt - though clearly less than it did first.
Here I am, your brand new GameBoy Advance battery. Hello - or bzzt, may I say.
