Wow glad to see we can still drum up such a fuss on the old SY gossip board. Hmm well we haven't titled that release... but I can tell you the first track was taken from a live show we played last summer in Lexington KY.. I really like that one... I think it should be called "pomp and circumstance" .. the next piece is an actual song we wrote in Montreal... we played it a bit on this last tour of Europe... it's called " the devil comes up to your door" The last piece is something we recorded in Missoula montana... one of my all time favorite shows... it features Marc Orleans from Sunburned on guitar... and I got to play a lot of Piano on that one.. It bleeds into our "I had a bad dream" song which will probably be on our next album...
Anyway, can't wait to get back on the road in America and see how it looks this year... I hope to see some of you at our shows.. I love meeting new folks and getting turned on to new bands... If you re on the fence.. come out and check out the show.. make up your own mind.. I think our suckiest shows are better than most bands your likely to catch today.. we've got Steve Mysterious from ghq on 2nd (3rd?) guitar this time out... and lambsbread is totally sick.. don't be scared off by their homosexual/fascist leanings.. they're all american rock and roll.. just like Vulcan or Anonymous... Anyway hope you all can make it out..
oh yeah ... to all you haters out there... eat a dick!
but whatever, I think that the Markers are more like a "live-band" because none of their videos or audio (just some exceptions) show how the markers really are, and if you went to see them live and didn't like them...well...ok, you didn't like them...what can I say...sorry, but I think they are great.
oh btw, this the CD-R I was talking about, I don't know the name of it, anybody knows?
