you work in a record store or something? Is that how it is being forced down your throat?
As for the vinyl "fad", I never got rid of my turntable or records, it never ever crossed my mind. I have tons of Cds as well, and cassette and DAT. I don't think this is a 'fad' - people who love music love listening to vinyl. and there are scientific reasons for this.
